Not long from now we will be able to see the magic like Harry Potter cloak comes true. Scientists have discovered metamaterial, a smart material that will redirect incoming lights. That will make any object beneath the cloak will be invisible.

For the first time experts from Berkeley, California, has made it to create such material in 3 dimensional form. That also means that the material can already be used to make the invisibility cloak, like Harry Potter wonder the alleys of Hogwarts without people having knowledge of his presence.

Metamaterial developed in University of California, let radio waves and lights that hit its surface to flow like water around stones on a rivers bottom. This material is a mix compound consist of metal and ceramic, teflon and composite fiber.

How it works is more advanced than stealth jet plane, that also redirect waves to wider angle so it would be difficult to be recognized. Metematerial redirect light that fall upon it so will never be reflected. The law of physic stated that matter be only visible if light reflected by object fall into our eyes.

Visible light is just one wave that can be controlled. If electromagnetic wave, radio wave, infrared and X-ray can also be controlled, those technology will be so much useful.

I think this type of technology cannot fall to the wrong hand.

Do you remember a scene on the movie Die Hard 4.0, when John Mcain is doing surveilance on his daughter and then suddenly his captain beeped, asking his favor to pick up the hacer kid that was going to the start of one hell of adventure?

Do you remember the captain saying, I know you’re John, pick up please. And John asked, how do you know, and the captain told Mcain that they have bug his car, or they have put a GPS tracking device in his car.

GPS tracking device is almost to be found in the movie of Die Hard 4.0. The highway scene when the lovely Maggie Q direct the police car, and ended it up in a terrible mess.

Whatever the used seems to be that the GPS tracking device have both sides of the sword. On one side it is useful, and on the other hand the use on the wrong hand could be fatal. There are always worries when human depend their life to technology.

I don’t know about you guys, but we gotta keep an eye on the use of technology.

Another use of GPS tracking device is on the movie of Too Fast Too Furious where Brian O’conner or Paul Walker decided to pull the bug out of his car so he can go deeper with his undercover.
