Okay, so I am back. There is no special strory. I just want to be back writing in my blog. I also thinking about updating my Indonesian Blog, and my Wordpress Blog. I have free days on Saturdays and Sundays so I will use them as a time to write.

It is a bussy week for some Indonesian this week as we are preparing for the President Election on July the 8. I my self am not a fanatic voter. But I do vote. I just vote who I want to vote. Is there any reason behind the decision of voting particular candidate? No, not really. I just vote the candidate I want to vote. Thats it.

There are 3 candidates for the upcoming presidential election. The first candidate is Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, the current president, who choose Boediono as his vice president candidate. The second candidate is the current vice president Jusuf Kalla, who chooses Wiranto as his vice president candidate. The third candidate is the former president Megawati who chooses Prabowo as her vice president candidate.

There is no “so called special candidate” this time as I see personally in the 3 candidates mentioned above. SBY the running incumbent is just an average president, that have no special achievement so far in running this country. Although I must admit that he runs the show pretty smoothly. The hole in his administration is absolutely the growing number of poverty and jobless people. This is a serious matter, and must be seen as priority is he will be elected in the upcoming election. Don’t forget also about the growing amount of International debt.

The second candidate Jusuf kalla though mentioned by some people as special character that can hopefully bring Indonesia out of the crisis faster than SBY is in my opinion is not so special. He is just a businessman that has many fail portfolio, especially on the stock market and banking. Although he maybe a great character, I think it take more than that to lead the country out of this crisis.

The third candidate is also not a special candidate in my opinion. Megawati once runs the country, and although she has a great skill in building a solid goverment during her years, but she mostly seemed to be confuses and lost in making vital decisions and oftenly lead to make blunders and fauls. Though many hope come from his vice candidate Prabowo, I see no special offer inside his the so called the people economy. All I see is just a possiblity of exploiting the natural richness of Indonesia, lots of mega projects which is unknown to my eyes where he will get the money to fund it as he seemingly to reduce international aid to Indonesia.

So who will I choose? Well I still have 4 days to think about it. Have a great weekend all. And o yeah, happy the 4th of July for the people of America.

Oprah Winfery, one top USA show host, refuses the vice president candidate from the Republican, Sarah Palin, as a guest on her talk show, Observer reported, on sunday (7/9).

Oprah that is well known as main supporter of democrat president candidate, Barrack Obama, is now under pressure from conservatives, saying that Palin becoming the first woman vice president is amazing. So, there is no excuse for Oprah to refuse her as a guest.

Still, Oprah declines. She said, her staff is split into half, on ideas of Palin interview. But she stood her ground. One of the worlds richest woman is reluctant to invite Palin.

“When I first announced that I supported a candidate, I decided not to use my show as a tool for other candidate” said Oprah.

So I have missed the may day. Whew, I mean I should be a part of the struggle and fight of labor wellfare. I mean, I am a labor. Indonesia have a very serious problems on labor and this must stop. The government have to find a way to close the gap between the rich and the poor.

The condition of public service is awful. Not to mention the safety and security. You can find muglers, thiefs, beggars, junkies, and sex workers in every part of this country. So, what is so special about this may day? Not much of course, still a lot of work to be done. It is confusing the line between rich and poor nowadays. You can find a man spending 1 USD on smoke and not able to pay his son school fees.
