When Indonesia finally won its first gold medal in 1996. Olyimpic is now become a little more popular in Indonesia. The previous best achievement was a silver in arrow contest.
Unfortunately football or soccer which is the most popular sport in indonesia, never found its achievement yet.
Susi Susanti and Alan Budi Kusuma was the first to brought gold in Indonesia Olypic participation. Badminton was the sport that made them the king and queen of the world
