In the design world, sometimes a client want a unique work, they do not want regular font, they want custom made font. So the design will become unique and more valueable. The font doesn’t have to be sophisticated, it can be simple. It can also take a form of regular font with slightly changes.
So, how to create a custom font? Well first you gotta work on a vector based software like a Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator. A friend of mine made a custom font, in AUTO CAD. That is very good. It is helpful to play with geometric shape, or match stick like base.
Once again I should remind you that the client is the main target you have to focus on.
